n my futile attempts to seek God over the years I toyed with the god of self, Eastern & New Age Spiritualities, Evolutionism, Word Faith and various other denominations throughout the world of Christendom. But it wasn’t until I realized it was always God who was seeking me that I was led to the understanding of divine truth and how one must first define God. And that is that He is holy. Not some watered-down, half -hearted, sit, fetch & roll-over version of holiness but a real holiness that does NOT come on our own terms nor one that comes naturally. A true holiness that is an all or nothing gig and yes, one that whole-heartedly seeks us. As high as the heavens and as near as the altar, pulpit and font. The image is surrounded with the “I AM” verses because each time Jesus says this to us, in a way it is His way of telling us “I am here for you.” And only those of us who confess with our lips that Jesus Christ is Lord can know that The Seeker has found us. And the entire image is surrounded with the Scriptures (Psalm 14,110,139 and Romans 3:10~11 Greek text)
