ave you ever been too ashamed even to lift your head? Has your sin been so heavy that it weighs you down as if the entire world is on your back?

It could be that you know how this woman feels. It could be that, like her, life is a burden.

Jesus said, "Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. (Matt. 11:28-29)

You might believe in Jesus Christ and yet you feel like her.

Take heart my friend and listen to St. John:

“This then is how we know that we belong to the truth, and how we set our hearts at rest in his presence whenever our hearts condemn us. For God is greater than our hearts, and he knows everything.” (1 John 3:19-20)


"I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world." John 16:33
